Then on Friday, a day after the interview, I received a call that they wanted to offer me the position! I was a little disappointed in the salary as I told them what I currently make so I made them my offer and we talked again on Monday. On Monday HR let me know that they would not be raising the salary so I said that they would have to raise the vacation time and that I would have to think it over.
Then on Tuesday, almost the entire day I was anxious. I had a tremor in my right thumb all day, I wasn't hungry, and my body was tingling. I am FAR from an anxious person so all of these feelings were foreign. No wonder anxious people are so skinny! I ended up buying a can of vodka mule for the train ride home to calm my nerves which weirded CP out a bit. If I did it all the time, I totally get that response as not being a healthy one but this is not a normal feeling for me and I don't drink that often so I'm not worried about it becoming a problem.
The anxious feeling continued into Wednesday although it had subsided a bit. After all of my meetings I called HR and let them know that I would take the job if they increased my vacation time, which they agreed to!
I start my new job on May 6!!!

Woohoo!! Congratulations!!
Congratulations! Wonderful news! And I don't know, a can of vodka mule on the train sounds perfectly reasonable to me given the circumstances.
