This morning I woke up and was immediately relieved that I didn’t have my period. If this was a normal cycle and I wasn’t taking Crinone (progesterone), I’m sure that it would have arrived today, only 10 days after ovulation (aka too early for me to successfully get pregnant).
That being said, my First Response (ahem expired as of last month) pregnancy test was negative. I know that it is still early but I was REALLY HOPING that I would see two lines.
So how long do I wait to test again? If I don’t have my period in two days? Three days? I only have one test left, but I can’t imagine that my period will hold off for too much longer. But who knows how long the Crinone will push off my period if I am not pregnant?
This weekend I told CP that I didn’t think that the IUI worked. After he asked why I told him that despite the fact that we have no medical information to the contrary, that I think that there is something still wrong with me, even after my surgery. The whole weekend I hoped for implantation bleeding but didn’t see anything (I know that only 30% of women get it but it would have been a nice sign). I don’t feel any different either. I know that it is way too early to feel different even if I am pregnant, but in my mind because I feel completely normal (other than my crazy thoughts of course), I am not pregnant.
I did cry after watching the guy who started Post Secret’s TED talk, but being slightly emotional is normal before your period too. And it has been a few months since I have cried so I am probably due a good cry.
Tell me, when do you think I should take my next (and last in the three-pack) expired pregnancy test? Or should I just buy some up-to-date tests?

Sorry about the BFN today. :( Ideally I would wait 2 days to test again, but probably would cave and test tomorrow if I were you. I don't think the recent expiration would affect it. Good luck!!
I'd wait 2 days. For what it's worth, I had 2 days of implantation spotting on days 12 and 13. I got my positive on day 14, although I hadn't tried testing before then. We went on vacation though, and I purposely didn't take a test with me :)
Ugh. Sorry it was negative. If it helps, I had no implantation spotting and I also got a BFN on 10dpo. I got the FAINTEST positive test on 12dpo (Torsten couldn't see it), confirmed with a digital test that afternoon.

I'm the worst person to ask, because I never took a pregnancy test at home. I had my annual appointment a few weeks later and figured they'd test anyways there, so why bother doing it twice. So, I'm going to defer to others regarding when to test, but wanted to let you know I'm cheering you on!
Sorry to say this, but you should wait at least a week. If your period hasn't arrived after a week, the test would most likely be confirmation of what you already know by that point. Good luck!
I've got no advice for you since I have never been or even tried to get pregnant, but I'm thinking of you! I hope you don't feel discouraged as it is still pretty early. Best of luck...I'm cheering for you!

Why not buy a bunch of tests at the dollar store?I'm so sorry. Hopefully a couple days. It is super soon.
