A bunch of jumbled thoughts today for Microblog Mondays...
*CP is finally home after three weeks in Thailand. Yesterday was his second full day at our house in 2015. Ridiculous. We are very happy that he is home even though he is jetlagged and cranky.
*Chicago only got two inches of snow yesterday. I was hoping for a bit more, but am not jealous of the storm that is brewing on the East Coast. Stay safe out there!

*Transfer is scheduled for Thursday, February 12th!!
*A coupe of you asked what I do for a job after my Day in the Life post....since this is a semi-anonymous blog I can't tell you but about 75% of my job is related to helping the homeless.

Whoa... it's the 26th. Second day of a whole month? Glad that he's back.
We're only getting the tail end of the storm, so pretty much nothing (maybe 3 inches). Part of me is jealous of the upper east coast. Part of me is glad that we're not going to have to dig out of that.
Love the picture of Buster in the snow!
Thanks for all you do to help the homeless
Beautiful snowy pictures! Enjoy your time with the mister, that's crazy that he's been away for so much of 2015. Also, that there's been so many days of 2015 already... :) Amazing that your transfer is coming right up... February is right around the corner. I seem to get headaches with everything, so I can't say if I had headaches with the patches, but hopefully the Tylenol can at least dull it and you can sleep a little extra, ha ha. Good luck to you!
Wait, you mean you DON'T miss the 30+ inches of snow we are about to get?! I am praying the 6ft snow drifts do NOT happen and that we don't lose power. I don't mind a foot of snow, but hearing "this will be a storm of historic magnitude" on my ride into work this morning doesn't exactly leave me feeling excited.
Gorgeous photos. The pose in that second picture looks like a pro snowboarder in the making!
I cannot get over Izzy's super cute fox hat!! Love it! I'm really glad you guys have CP at home for a change. I can't imagine how hard it must be to be single-momming it all the time.
Love the photos. I just can't get past my jealousy that your husband spent three weeks in Thailand. (My second home, I love it there, and haven't been for three years.)
Looks like just the right amount of snow.
Glad you mister is home safely!
Cute snow bunnies.
Why did I think you were a lawyer this whole time?! Though I guess most lawyers can't leave work by 3 PM or so . . .
I did graduate from law school, but I am not currently practicing. I wish I got to leave work at 3pm! Because I was working that night my boss allowed me to leave work early so that I could get Izzy situated with my parents. :-)
So glad CP is home! He sure does a lot of traveling. Hopefully he's home now for a long stretch? Izzy and Buster are adorable. Lupron gave me headaches, but I never did the patches. Whoa! The 12th is going to be here before you know it!
