All of my medications arrived on Friday. We have a bunch chilling in the fridge.....
And a bunch in the second bedroom hanging out with all of the necessary supplies.....
I'll be honest....I'm a little freaked that all of this will be going into my body in such a short time span.
And I find the fact that we are even at this point hilarious because only a few years ago we were only going to try the "natural" way....and at how that has worked out the past (almost) three years. 0 pregnancies and a whole lot of heartache. HA HA HA HA is how current me laughs at old naive me.
If these drugs are what it takes to get me pregnant I say BRING.IT.ON.
*Said in the same voice as Pauly D's "cabs are here!" Yes, I watched Jersey Shore for a season or two. It is not something I should advertise. :-)

I've counselled patients seeking terminations who noted that "I always said I would never have an abortion" I note how easy it is to say such a thing when you're not actually in the situation. I too once claimed that I "would never do IVF" and now I'm mentally preparing myself that we will need it.
Good luck! I hope this works for you!
Wahoo! Time to get this show on the road :o)
I'm glad that you are being kind to yourself now that you are moving on to IVF even though you said you never would. I've been saying from the beginning that we will adopt instead of going on to fertility treatments, but a small voice in me always wonders if I would really say no to it.
I also used to think I would never do IVF. So much for that. I think my jaw hit the floor the first time I saw all the meds. It's quite daunting.
Excited for you to get started :)
Yay for meds!!!
The Hubby and I also started off very "natural" :)
I have a house full (though not that full) of drugs too! Lets get this show on the road baby.
Another step forward...I call that PROGRESS!!!!
Isn't it funny how our own circumstances can change our life views? I'm just glad to hear CP and you have remained open to this path towards parenthood. Good luck with this next step - I'll be thinking of you!!
Yay!! Time to get this party started! Also, don't be freaked out -- those meds are, like, 95% packaging and 5% actual medication. You will be full of eggs and going in for retrieval in no time, just watch!

I can relate to never thinking I would agree to IVF. It's just something that some of us have to do to get that baby. I was freaked out about the whole process and found it to be very tolerable. In fact, I am wishing that I had meds in the fridge so I could get #2 underway.
I hope the shots haven't been too bad and that this cycle goes without a hitch for you.
Best of Luck!! Be strong! (ouch)
I think its great that rather than deleting your old post and pretending you never said it, you just point it out and say "wow, I never thought we'd be here"
How exciting to be starting treatment, I'll be sending you lots of good vibes that this will be successful :)
So glad you are already getting to the swimming part! Hope things will be going well! I'll be right behind you :-)
