For the past week our trainer has suggested eating a protein smoothie for breakfast and lunch in order to maximize weight loss. CP and I decided that a smoothie for lunch was too difficult so a couple of nights we have had a smoothie for our dinner after having a regular lunch. We both thought that having just a smoothie for breakfast would leave us hungry around 10am- but they are actually really filling.
Because we have been having smoothies and not regular breakfast food, our stomachs have probably gotten a little smaller. That is probably why I did not have any seconds on Thanksgiving. That is probably why eating after CP mom's wedding caused my stomach to ache on Saturday. That is probably why eating at CP dad's house yesterday also hurt my stomach. I couldn't wait to make a smoothie this morning for breakfast.
So although my jeans felt a little bigger on Friday, after eating this weekend they no longer feel big. All of CP's family members commented on him looking skinnier, but didn't say the same about me. CP tried to make me feel better by saying that the first place that he loses weight is in his face, but it didn't really help. I am obviously going to have to work a little harder to work off the food I ate this weekend. Thank goodness we have the trainer tonight.

Have you ever watched the Biggest Loser on TV? The reason I ask is men definitely tend to do better than women on that show. It's our unfortunate gender difference ... and yes, women do have to work harder than men to lose the same amount of weight. Hopefully, you won't turn this into a competition between you and CP ... and instead will turn it into something purely for yourself!
Yes I LOVE the Biggest Loser. I make CP watch it all the time. :-) If you knew me in real life you would know that I turn EVERYTHING into a competition!
Will you share the recipe for your shakes with me?
