Tuesday I was fine with simply eating (drinking) two smoothies and fruit before eating dinner. Yesterday afternoon? FAIL. I was (and still am) craving all of the salt that is currently on the roads.
In the four months I have been at work, I have resisted the urge to go on the internet (at least for long periods of time. Checking weather.com doesn’t count). Partly because I can’t access favorites such as Hotmail or Perez Hilton, partly because it looks bad. Yesterday? FAIL. I spent a good hour and a half perusing the internet, including reading everyone’s blogs and commenting. Yay for productivity!
I was hoping to get all of my Christmas shopping done last weekend as I am in DC this coming weekend and fly home Christmas Eve. Again, FAIL. CP and I still can’t figure out what to get my parents and my aunt.
I was hoping that I could convince CP to do a joint Christmas/ holiday slideshow, but he doesn’t want any part of it. FAIL. BTW, if anyone doesn’t want to spend money on cards, stamps, etc. AND doesn’t want hand cramps, go to www.photobucket.com where you can put together a slideshow of pictures from 2008 and send it out as your Christmas card! It saves money AND is good for the environment!
I was hoping to lose weight after taking the bar and before my 30th birthday. FAIL. Hopefully I am now on the right track though.
I was hoping that CP and I would have met at least one new person or couple to hang out with from our area. FAIL. We never spend any time at local events in our small town….which makes meeting people hard.
Yesterday I was so excited about running 5 miles on the treadmill. However, all of that pounding on the treadmill has aggravated the tendonitis in both of my knees. FAIL.
I was hoping to stop spending lots of money. Actually, this is a PASS. We can’t spend as much money on food because we are eating smoothies for two meals out of the day. So to buy more food would just be silly. We actually took an inventory of what we have already prepared in our two freezers so that we can start defrosting things after getting home late from the gym. After I felt better on my birthday I was tempted to go shopping, but I turned away from the mall, thinking better of the idea. Next month I will also be able to pay off one of my credit cards and cancel it. Of course I have another credit card with a huge balance, but at least it is one down.....

It will all fall into place, they always seem to.
One PASS is a great start! The others will follow.
