*How was your Superbowl Sunday? Ours ended up being pretty relaxed because Izzy was sick. She woke up Saturday morning with a fever so she didn't end up going to soccer. She ran some errands with CP but he realized that she wasn't feeling great when at the grocery store he had to make a quick exit because she fell asleep on his shoulder (never happens). We would give her Tylenol which would bring her fever down, but it would flare up again once the medicine wore off which would make her very clingy and snuggly. CP stayed home with her on Monday because I had a big day at work and took her into the doctor- ear infection. I should have thought about that but always forget about ear infections because she doesn't complain about her ears hurting or pull on them. I ended up staying home with her on Tuesday because she still had a fever on Monday night but she was basically back to normal after starting antibiotics on Monday morning.

*Were you happy about the Broncos winning on Sunday? I was rooting for the Panthers because I am a fan of Cam Newton and wanted a new team to win....oh well. Hopefully my Eagles will be in the Superbowl next year (ha ha).
*Not super excited about the news that there is a dengue fever outbreak on Hawaii's big island since we are heading there in 8 days, but so far no Zika so that's good. I'm just going to be careful and wear repellent. Otherwise, I am looking forward to our vacation!
*What are people doing for Valentine's Day? Anything? Usually CP makes me a fancy dinner but with us leaving for Hawaii in about a week maybe we will just wait to have a fancy dinner by ourselves in Hawaii! My MIL can hang out with Izzy that night. :-)
*So far I think that I have done a good job of hiding my belly at work but when my parents were over this weekend my Dad looked at my belly and said "You aren't going to be hiding that from people for long." To be fair, we had just eaten dinner so my belly was full of food AND I was wearing a maternity shirt so it hugged the belly a bit more than the shirts I am wearing at work. But, he's probably right. I think that I'm looking more like my 17 week picture with Izzy and I'm only 15 weeks.

Obviously I was thrilled about the Broncos win, but I do like Cam Newton and if I were a fan of any team in the NFL other than the Broncos, I'd have been rooting for the Panthers. I am super mad about the criticism against Cam Newton and the associated racism that people seem to be choosing to ignore. Ugh.
Poor Izzy, but glad the antibiotics are helping!
I was definitely rooting for the Panthers...so sorry Izzy was sick!! Our Super Bowl Sunday was not nearly as much fun as last year!
I was torn on who to root for - I think Cam Newton is freaking awesome and I would not have been mad if he won, but I have a soft spot for Peyton (both on his own and because I love Eli.. boo Eagles ;-) ) so I also really liked having him go out with a big win like that. I really hope he does actually quit while he's ahead though...!
SO. EXCITING. about Hawaii coming up to soon! I've never been, I'm super jealous!
What kind of bed was Izzy lying on? It looks kinda like the toddler cot I just got from WalMart.
I was rooting for the Panthers despite Cam Newton's lack of maturity and sportsmanship because I rooted for them when I lived in South Carolina. I don't really have an NFC team besides Not-The-Redskins, so I kinda sorta root for the Panthers and I kinda sorta root for the Falcons because I live there now.
Now that I can see the rest of your post to remember what all the points were, we're going shooting on Saturday since the babysitting service we use is closed on Sundays.
Have a great trip- so jealous!!!
I was rooting for Peyton. He is such a class act, I really wanted to see him go out on top!
And I hope Izzy is feeling much better now. It is so heartbreaking when they are sick.
Prayers that you get an interview before your body gives away that you are pregnant!!
I'm sorry Izzy was sick! She looks so sad in that picture. I've never been into pro football, so didn't even watch a second of the game. We aren't really doing anything for Valentine's Day, but we are spending Saturday night with the inlaws and plan to FINALLY go see the new Star Wars movie since we'll have babysitters. Good luck with the promotion at work! I have needed to update my resume for a long time now, but it intimidates me because there's so much I can't remember!!!
