My mom, maid of honor and CP were essential in making sure I didn't freak out on Saturday. My mom and CP ran around for most of the day, putting out the favors, table numbers, etc. while I was sequestered in a room with the bridesmaids. My stomach was in knots the entire day as it was raining off and on and because I wasn't able to help with the last-minute things.
Yesterday CP and I came home exhausted and ordered pizza while watching our wedding video. We had CP’s brother-in-law film the ceremony, the reception entrances and the toasts. My heart was beating so fast when I walked down the aisle and throughout the ceremony that I remember only a few things of what our officiant (our mutual friend) said. Also on our video camera was 45 minutes of the dance floor. That resulted in hilarious blackmail videos of our friends and family dancing! Prior to the ceremony when CP’s best man was practicing his speech outside his cottage, three bears came out of the woods and scared him sh*tless. He dropped his speech and ran inside the cottage. Luckily he was able to grab the video camera and get some footage of that too!
Right now I am at work, tired and not motivated at all! Luckily people at work want to hear all about how the wedding went… :-)
I leave you with some pictures of the wedding flowers….
Because we had to move our ceremony under a tent on the patio of the Inn (stupid rain), our florist had to scrap our plans of flowers covering an arbor. She instead made two tall arrangements, placed them on pedestals she brought with her, and put them on either side of the officiant. So cool.
This is our centerpiece. Sunflowers, iris, thistle, lilies, some kind of berry and something else (name unknown). Our florist used bear grass along the inside of the vase.

This picture from above shows off the kale flower in the middle. :-)

Is it too early for me to be bugging you about babies? :)
CONGRATULATIONS!
Take this week to write down the little moments that moved you throughout the weekend. Not necessarily for blog fodder, but to remember. Because TOO quickly, they will become jumbled into the beauty that was your wedding day!
Congratulations, welcome to the flip side!
