Send good thoughts to CP

Today CP has SIX interviews with five different people out in Chicago.  Yikes!  Two of the interviewers are Vice Presidents of company divisions so they are not joking around!!  The company even sent him a temporary credit card (my husband is such a BALLER! Ha ha.) for his expenses.

He flew out last night so that he could get a good night sleep before tackling all of the interviews today.  He is going to have to be on his “A” game today with so many of them back-to-back.

Our insider (aka my step second cousin) has been a great resource.  She emailed CP the names of everyone he will be interviewing with and even included helpful hints (such as this VP is very direct and may try to challenge you).  She has been great!!

CP spent Monday and Tuesday night preparing for the interview- thinking up questions to ask, researching the background of all of his interviewers, answering mock interview questions, etc.  As of yesterday when I last saw him, he wasn’t nervous but I’m sure he will be at least a little nervous for the interviews.  I mean, we both currently have jobs and love where we are living so there is no pressure on him.  All he can do is prepare (check!) and hopefully not sound like an idiot during his interviews (not too worried about this).  The company is interviewing one other person and CP can only show up with his experience and personality…..there is nothing he can do about the other candidate.

Please send CP good interviewing thoughts today!  We have no idea when we will hear back from the company, but I am crossing EVERYTHING I can in hopes that he gets it!
